Ivan Kuzin, accused of murdering General Moskalik, on Thursday, November 27, asked for forgiveness from the military family during a hearing in the 2nd Western District Military Court, the Izvestia correspondent reports.

"I regret and sincerely regret my actions, and I apologize to the family of the deceased, as well as to the people who put their lives in danger. I didn't want that," he said.

In addition, during the hearing, the defendant expressed his willingness to atone to the family of the deceased.

The terrorist attack that killed the Muscovite occurred on April 25, and Kuzin was detained the next day, after which he confessed. He was charged with committing a terrorist act. It was clarified that for this he was promised a reward of $ 18 thousand.

On November 20, it was reported that the prosecution had asked for Kuzin to be sentenced to life imprisonment during the debate.
