The number of people poisoned with powdered energy in a Yekaterinburg school has grown to 20

In Yekaterinburg, the number of students who inhaled powdered energy drink at Lyceum No. 159 increased to 20. This was announced on October 1 by a source of Izvestia.

On the same day, the regional Ministry of Health reported that 11 fifth-graders were taken to a hospital in Yekaterinburg.

According to the agency, during the examination of schoolchildren, no clinical manifestations of poisoning were detected in children. They noted that there were no indications for hospitalization.

It became known about the poisoning of schoolchildren at the Yekaterinburg Lyceum that day, they inhaled the pre-workout complex.

The press service of the city administration reported that they had sent a powder for examination that caused children to feel unwell in Yekaterinburg. Rospotrebnadzor launched an investigation after eight students from school No. 122 in Yekaterinburg sought medical help with signs of acute intestinal infection. It is noted that the patients underwent a laboratory examination, and one of them was diagnosed with norovirus.

Later, lyceum students told Izvestia that the powdered energy drink that the children were poisoned with was brought by a schoolboy to show off to friends. According to preliminary information, an eighth grade student found a jar of energy powder on September 30 during a workout at the gym, and the next day he brought it to school to show it to friends, but accidentally scattered it.
