The search engines that are looking for the Usoltsev family, who disappeared in the Partizansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, continue to work in extreme conditions. Vladislav Velichko, coordinator and regional representative of the LizaAlert volunteer search and rescue team of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, announced this on October 10.

According to him, aviation, drones, ATVs and specialized equipment were involved in the operation.

"All of this is being used right now to find people in very difficult conditions. Hiking groups work in extreme conditions that we have never encountered before. People are working up to their waists in the snow, getting injured," Velichko told TASS.

The coordinator added that currently the search teams have already covered more than 4.5 thousand km.

This is not the first case of a mysterious disappearance of a man in the area.

On September 28, it became known that the Usoltsev family, consisting of a man and a woman born in 1961 and 1977, respectively, as well as their five-year-old child, were missing in a wooded area near the Minsk loop. According to one version, the man could become ill, and the woman and child could not get out of the taiga on their own.

On October 8, it was reported that volunteers combed more than 515 km of forest roads and 40 square kilometers of forest in search of missing tourists.

The next day, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia reported that the radio signal of the phone of the head of the missing Usoltsev family was recorded 7 km from the village of Kuturchin in the Partizansky district. After that, it was decided to concentrate search operations there.

Later, on October 9, professional climber and tourist Alexei Kulesh said that the area where the Usoltsev family disappeared was "touristically remote" and other cases of disappearance of vacationers there had not yet been reported.
