In the village of Khinel, Bryansk region, a civilian was injured due to mortar fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on October 8 by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.

"The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired mortars at the village of Khinel in the Sevsky district. Unfortunately, a civilian resident of the village was injured as a result of the terrorist attack," Bogomaz wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, the victim received the necessary medical assistance. In addition, an apartment building and outbuildings were damaged.
