A suspect in the murder of his wife and daughters in the Ulyanovsk region pleaded guilty

A man arrested on suspicion of murdering a 27-year-old woman and her young children in the Ulyanovsk region has pleaded guilty to the crime. This was reported on October 2 in the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.

"Initially, after the murder of his wife and children, the defendant tried to stage a robbery at the apartment, but a thorough inspection of the scene and interrogation of witnesses in the case proved the absence of unauthorized persons at the time of the murder," the department's Telegram channel says.

Later, after presenting the evidence, the suspect confessed to the triple murder, indicating the motives and details of his actions. The man was charged under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The investigator of the Investigative Committee of Russia will apply for his detention.

On October 1, it was reported about the murder of a 27-year-old woman and her two daughters in Ulyanovsk. A criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of two or more persons").

Later, the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Ulyanovsk region informed about the detention of the head of the family suspected of the crime.

On the same day, the UK published a video from the crime scene. The footage shows how the bathtub in the apartment is filled with red liquid, presumably blood. The video also captures the investigative actions carried out at the scene.
