The court refused to satisfy singer Larisa Dolina's claim in the case of real estate sold to Polina Lurie, but at the moment the artist still lives in the apartment. Svetlana Sviridenko, the buyer's lawyer, told about this on December 16, the Izvestia correspondent reports.

It is noted that after the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to leave Lurie's apartment, the human rights defender could not hold back tears of joy. The girl, in turn, rushed to hug the lawyer.

"Larisa Alexandrovna lives in this apartment [for now]. <...> The court's decision has now entered into force. If a person does not voluntarily vacate [the apartment], then an eviction lawsuit is filed," Sviridenko explained.

She added that after the decision came into force, bailiffs were already starting to work. The lawyer also expressed the hope that her client would not have to resort to such measures.

On the same day, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation recognized the ownership of the disputed apartment as Dolina za Lurie. It was noted that the singer retained the right to live in the disputed apartment until the decision of the court of second instance. In addition, the Supreme Court of Russia also decided to cancel all decisions of the lower courts in the case of the sale of the artist's apartment.

Dolina did not come to the Supreme Court on December 16 to consider the complaint of the buyer of her apartment. During the trial in the case of the sale of the apartment by Dolina, it became known that the initial value of the property was 130 million rubles. The parties came to the cost of 112 million rubles during the negotiations.

In March of this year, the Khamovnichesky district court of the capital considered the counterclaims of the singer and Lurie and decided in favor of Dolina, more than 69 million rubles were recovered in her favor.

Lurie's appeal was dismissed on September 8. The Moscow City Court recognized the decision on ownership of the disputed apartment for Dolina, her daughter and granddaughter as legitimate. On November 27, the Second Court of Cassation rejected the complaint of the buyer of the apartment and again retained ownership of the property for the artist. Lurie later filed a complaint against the lower court's decisions with the Supreme Court. Her lawyer added that the girl rejected Dolina's offer of a settlement agreement as unacceptable.
