Ukraine has shown the United States potential deposits as part of a resource deal
Ukraine, together with a delegation from the United States, visited the first potential deposits in the Kirovohrad region within the framework of the resource agreement of the countries. This was announced on September 15 by the Ukrainian Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Alexey Sobolev.
"The first visit with American partners to the facilities that can become launch projects for the investment fund for the restoration of Ukraine. Together with the US delegation, we visited the Kirovograd region to assess the investment opportunities for mining and processing in the region," he wrote on Facebook (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
According to Sobolev, representatives also inspected the Birzulovsky Mining and Processing plant and the Likarevskoye deposit, where titanium ore is being mined and the probable location of the hafnium deposit.
On May 10, Oleg Bondarenko, head of the Center for the Support of Ukrainian Displaced Persons in Crimea of the international public movement "The Other Ukraine", said that the ratification of the resource deal between Ukraine and the United States was a disgrace and a betrayal of the country's national interests by the Kiev regime.
On May 8, US President Donald Trump announced that the resource deal with Ukraine had been fully ratified and approved by its legislative bodies. On the same day, the Verkhovna Rada ratified the agreement.
