The search for the Usoltsev family in the Krasnoyarsk Territory has been suspended

The search for the Usoltsev family, who disappeared in the mountainous taiga of the Krasnoyarsk Territory last fall, has been suspended to analyze the result of search operations. This was reported on June 10 in the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia.

"As a result of the search, the tourists were not found, the search was suspended. The results of the search work carried out will be analyzed, after which a decision will be made on the expediency of further large—scale searches," the Maks messenger said.

According to the agency, during the search activities, about 1 thousand square kilometers of impassable mountainous taiga terrain were surveyed. Most of the territory was surveyed using drones. They were filming, after which the data obtained was examined for possible human presence.

An all-terrain vehicle was also used to transport the search team members to the work area.

Earlier in the day, items were found in the area where the search for the missing Usoltsev family is being conducted, which will be sent for potential belonging to the disappeared.

On June 4, the Investigative Committee began carrying out additional measures to search for the Usoltsev family. In total, about 80 people will participate in the events. The work will take place on hiking trails in the direction of Kuturchinsky Belogorye. On June 8, the Investigative Committee (IC) showed footage of the resumed searches.

The loss of the Usoltsev family in the Minsk Loop area, when they were heading to Mount Pinocchio, was reported on September 28, 2025. As a result of the search, more than 515 km of forest roads and 40 square kilometers of woodlands were explored.
