The cost of Olivier salad for four for the New Year reached 363 rubles
The minimum cost of products for Olivier New Year's salad in 2025 in large Russian retail chains will be 363 rubles. This was announced on December 4 by the press service of the Association of Retail Trade Companies (ACORT).
This minimum set includes potatoes, pickled cucumbers, eggs, boiled sausage, canned peas, onions, carrots and mayonnaise for four servings of salad.
"The minimum cost of products for cooking the popular New Year's salad Olivier for four people in large retail chains is 363 rubles. When calculating, prices for the most affordable food products are taken into account," the Telegram channel said.
According to the Association, on average in Russia, taking into account all sales channels, the cost of a similar set for Olivier is 618 rubles, which is 41% more expensive than in large retail chains.
The minimum price of a package of boiled sausage weighing 300 g in chain stores is 77 rubles, which is 55% lower than the average cost of these products in various trade formats, and a jar of pickled cucumbers will cost at least 132 rubles — 34% cheaper than the national average.
Earlier, on December 3, it was reported that business interest in holding New Year's corporate holidays in Russia decreased by 30% compared to 2024. It was clarified that business problems are related to lack of funds and economic uncertainty.
