The police temporarily blocked the bridge connecting the Transnistrian town of Rybnitsa with the Moldovan Rubber, after receiving anonymous reports of mining. Residents of Transnistria are not allowed to cross it. This was announced on September 28 by the correspondent of Izvestia Vasily Moiseenko.

According to him, even residents of the right bank cannot get home. It is expected that the mine clearance of the bridge may begin after 22 hours.

It is specified that the bridge is a key transport link that allows residents of Transnistria to participate in voting on the right bank of the Dniester.

Parliamentary elections began in Moldova on September 28. Polling stations in the territory of the state opened at 07:00 in the morning. They will close at 21:00. Thus, 301 polling stations will operate outside the country to give citizens who are abroad the opportunity to vote. The total circulation of the ballots reached 864.3 thousand copies. At the same time, the elections were held, as the turnout exceeded 33%.

On the same day, the mayor of Chisinau and the leader of the National Alternative Movement party, Ion Ceban, announced an unprecedentedly dirty election campaign taking place in Moldova. In his opinion, the electoral process has turned into a large-scale information campaign for disinformation and sowing hatred.
