Ivan Sukhov, a polygamist and father of 14 children, collected dirt on his daughter Anna, who accused him of a crime against sexual integrity. This was reported to Izvestia on September 12 by the girl's lawyer, Yulia Verbitskaya.

"Despite the bravura claims of Sukhov and his defense about some "evidence of innocence," everything at the moment boils down to the fact that Anna's testimony is confirmed and true, but the "father of the year" himself was preparing and collecting some "compromising evidence" on his daughter," she said.

Verbitskaya noted that the defense intends to request a psychological and psychiatric examination of Sukhov. She suggested that the desire to promote unnatural cohabitation with several women and their children at the same time may indicate mental disorders and pose a danger to society.

On September 10, the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia opened a criminal case accusing Sukhov of lewd acts after his daughter claimed harassment from her father. In June, Sukhov denied his 19-year-old daughter's accusations of harassment. According to him, journalists are manipulating his daughter "for the sake of HYPE" and want to cash in on this topic.

In December 2024, Sukhov spoke about the inspection of his family after a high-profile interview. He also assumed that the close attention to his family was due to "raging feminism."
