A four-day preventive event "SIM, Cyclist" will be held in Moscow. The State Traffic Inspectorate of the capital announced this in its Telegram channel on June 11.
The raid will take place from 12 to 15 June. Its purpose is to prevent and prevent road traffic injuries and promote compliance with traffic regulations by cyclists and users of personal mobility equipment.
"Traffic police officers will hold explanatory talks about the basic rules of movement on SIM and bicycles, as well as the use of protective equipment," the department noted.
Traffic police officers will pay special attention to the safe movement of young road users on scooters and other means of individual mobility.
Last time, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate conducted a similar raid on May 23-25. As a result of the event, inspectors stopped 8,398 traffic violations by cyclists and SIM users. 3,563 materials were compiled for delivery couriers, 2,973 for cyclists, and 1,862 for SIM users.
