Tsoi's wall in the center of Moscow has been restored to its former appearance
The memorial wall of rock musician Viktor Tsoi on the Old Arbat in Moscow was restored to its original form after the actions of vandals.
Graffiti and stickers that hooligans had previously left there were removed from the wall. At the same time, the drawings and inscriptions dedicated to Tsoi's work remained in the same form.
On April 23, a source from Izvestia reported that the police had detained a man who had defaced Tsoi's wall with paint, writing the phrase "Gloomy cabbage soup" on it. An administrative case of minor hooliganism has been initiated against him.
The new inscription appeared after Tsoi's wall on Arbat was defaced on April 12 by fans of the deceased rapper Pasha Technik. The next day, fans of the Kino group came with spray cans to paint over the graffiti. As one of them noted, he does not know the songs of the Technician, but Viktor Tsoi's music will always be listened to, from generation to generation.
