Screenings of Boyarsky's plays have been suspended in St. Petersburg.
The Lensovet Theater decided to suspend performances with the participation of Mikhail Boyarsky, People's Artist of the RSFSR, due to the actor's health condition after falling during a rehearsal. This was announced on May 5 in the press service of the theater.
"The doctors did not recommend Mikhail Sergeyevich Boyarsky to go on stage in the near future. We understand that many of you will be upset by this news, but we all want Mikhail Sergeyevich to return to the stage as soon as possible, so now we are forced to put the play on "pause," follows from a publication on the theater's Telegram channel.
In this regard, the play "In this Sweet old House", which was supposed to run twice a day with the participation of the actor, has been completely suspended until the end of the season. Instead, viewers can see other productions on May 9, May 25, June 3, June 25, July 2, and July 13. For example, on May 9, instead of "In this sweet old house", the play "Guilty without Guilt" will be held.
Concert director Alexander Zykin told Izvestia that the performances had been canceled "until better times." According to him, while the artist is undergoing rehabilitation and is under the supervision of doctors.
Earlier, on April 19, Zykin reported Boyarsky's fall in the theater during a rehearsal. The actor stumbled and fell, after which he went to the hospital. Larisa Luppian, the artist's wife, said that doctors had temporarily banned him from playing on stage.
