Tatiana Vaskova, a resident of the village of Martynovka in the Kursk region, whose diary was found by Russian servicemen, refused to leave her home despite the persuasions of her relatives. Her daughter Elena informed Izvestia about this on March 17.
According to her daughter, the 77-year-old pensioner told her and her grandson that she wanted to die in her house under Arrest.
It was established that the woman died in February. Elena shared that during the examination of her mother's body, a head injury was discovered.
"She has a traumatic brain injury. But nothing has been proven yet. Maybe they hit me with something, I don't know," the daughter of the deceased clarified.
Elena clarified that her husband had visited Tatiana's house several times, but no one had opened the door for him. The pensioner's relatives hoped to the last that she was able to escape.
Soldiers of the Akhmat battalion of the St. Petersburg special forces reported on Tatiana's suicide diary on March 15. Among the notes, she left a message to Elena with her feelings about life and death. She also left her dying wishes in the text.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced the release of Martynovka on March 11.
