In Russia, it was proposed to introduce a single sample of a teacher's certificate
The Russian Ministry of Education has prepared a draft resolution on the introduction of a single standard certificate that will officially confirm the status of a teacher in the country. The relevant document was published on October 23 on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.
"To approve the attached: a single sample certificate confirming the status of a teacher in the Russian Federation," the draft provides the main provision.
According to the description, the document can be made in two versions: in the form of a plastic card or a burgundy-colored book measuring 90 by 65 millimeters. All information in the certificate will be provided exclusively in Russian.
On the back of the plastic card, it is planned to place the teacher's last name, first name and patronymic, his position, place of work and a unique document number. To protect against counterfeiting, a holographic element is provided, and the design will feature stripes in the colors of the national flag of Russia.
The draft also regulates the deadlines for submitting documents. The employer will be required to send the information for registration of the certificate to the regional state information system in the field of education. This must be done within one working day after the employment contract with the teacher comes into force.
On September 30, Sergey Kravtsov, the head of the Ministry of Education, announced that the agency would form the first teacher status regulation in Russia. The minister noted that the document will be submitted for public discussion.
