- The Russian Embassy in Denmark has strongly rejected the EU's accusations of waging a "hybrid war"
On October 21, the Russian Embassy in Denmark stated that the European Union was trying to explain its own internal problems by the actions of the Russian Federation. The diplomatic mission also stressed that Moscow has nothing to do with the demonstrations and riots in France.
"It has become fashionable everywhere in the EU countries to try to blame their own helplessness in solving internal problems on the machinations of Russia," the embassy said in a response to a question from Radio 4, published on the diplomatic mission's Telegram channel.
The Russian Embassy noted that instead of eliminating the causes of social contradictions, the European authorities, in their assessment, are trying to justify their own strategic miscalculations by referring to external interference. The diplomats stressed that Russia is not waging a "hybrid war" against Europe and has nothing to do with the demonstrations and riots taking place in France.
On September 8, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that talk that Russia was allegedly planning to attack Europe was delusional and frivolous. At the same time, he advised paying attention to another statement by Russian leader Vladimir Putin, who promised that if Europe suddenly attacked Russia, the war would be "completely different and very short."
On June 23, Putin called the West's statements about the alleged threat from Russia false. According to him, foreign politicians deliberately introduce this untrue information into the information field in order to justify their own militarization.
