The IL-114-300 aircraft performed a demonstration flight in the Far East

The Russian regional aircraft IL-114-300 was presented in Vladivostok, during the presentation the machine performed a demonstration flight. This was announced on August 31 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The aircraft arrived in Vladivostok to participate in the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

The presentation and flight took place at Vladivostok International Airport named after V. K. Arsenyev. Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Oleg Kozhemyako, Governor of Primorsky Krai, and Alexey Chekunkov, Head of the Ministry of Regional Development, got acquainted with the capabilities of the IL-114-300. The event was also attended by the heads of the airlines Aurora, Taiga and Kamchatka Aviation Enterprise.

Gennady Abramenkov, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Daniil Brenerman, Managing Director of Il JSC, and Mikhail Alekseev, Chief Designer of the Il-114, spoke about the key characteristics of the aircraft.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the duration of the demonstration flight was about an hour. The plane was traveling along the air routes near Vladivostok airport.

On August 21, the IL-114-300 aircraft successfully passed tests in extreme heat conditions in Uzbekistan. The aircraft was checked at a ground temperature of up to +42 degrees. During the tests, five aborted takeoffs were also carried out using brakes that simulate extreme wear.
