The United States plans to provide grants to support the MAGA (Make America Great Again, "Make America Great Again") movement in Europe and beyond. This was reported on July 18 by the Financial Times (FT) newspaper with reference to the document.

"The administration of [US President Donald] Trump is preparing to provide a number of grants in Europe and beyond to support initiatives consistent with TRUMP's strategy... One of the main goals of the grants is to strengthen freedom of speech in the UK and Europe, which, according to the administration, is under threat," the publication says.

According to the document, the proposed grants include $2 million for "countering censorship" caused by EU regulations, including the Digital Services Act and the Digital Markets Act. It also describes plans to allocate $5 million for the development of a "civilizational alliance" in Europe. At the same time, it is not specified whether the administration has identified a group for the implementation of projects.

The Telegraph columnist Poppy Wood reported on July 12 that a split has intensified in American right-wing circles, including within the MAGA movement, due to conspiracy theories about the murder of political activist Charlie Kirk. At the preliminary hearing in Provo City Court, Utah, the confrontation became especially noticeable. Conspiracy theorists, including podcasters who believe Kirk was eliminated by the "deep state," took seats in and outside the auditorium.
