The gap in the results of the Unified State Exam (USE) between applicants applying for budgetary and paid places in a number of universities reaches 42 points. This was announced on June 24 by the head of Rosobrnadzor, Anzor Muzaev.

According to him, this difference is observed in almost all universities, both public and private.

"In almost many universities, the gap between state—funded and paid students, whether private or public, sometimes reaches up to 42 points in the subject, with an average of 36-42 points," Muzaev said at the session "Legal Education: Lifelong learning" at the St. Petersburg International Law Forum.

At the same time, the head of the department noted that the average USE score for admission to private and public universities is generally comparable, and there is no significant gap between them.

As it became known on June 23, a student of the engineering pre-professional class of Moscow school No. 1409 received the maximum 400 points on four USE exams. The graduate, in addition to the four mentioned disciplines, also passed the Unified State Exam in computer science, the results of which are to be announced later.

On the same day, Artem Shuntov, a graduate of the Technical Lyceum, also received results in chemistry, physics, mathematics and the Russian language, becoming the first graduate of Primorye to score 400 points. In addition to him, 65 more graduates in the region received 100 points for one of the exams.
