Madrid has conducted an emergency evacuation of people from the Torre Moeve skyscraper, which is considered one of the tallest buildings in the country. This was reported by the newspaper El Pais on June 23.

The cause of the incident was an explosion inside, which caused a fire and heavy smoke on the 25th floor of the 45-storey building. Fire crews and medical teams promptly arrived at the scene.

According to the newspaper's sources in the emergency services, the fire is currently under control. There was no information about the dead. It is reported that two people received medical attention due to mild poisoning by gorenje products.

In the Spanish province of Cordoba, on January 18, two trains heading from the southern city of Malaga to and from Madrid collided and derailed. The total number of victims of the train crash in Spain was 152 people. On January 19, the Spanish authorities declared three days of national mourning and promised to conduct a transparent investigation into the causes of the disaster.
