Iranian troops have destroyed an American FPS-132 radar station in Qatar. This was announced on February 28 by the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
"The American FP132 radar located in Qatar, <....> was completely destroyed," the Tashim news agency quotes the text of the message in its Telegram channel.
FPS-132 is a radar system that is used for early warning of missile danger. They are in service with the American Missile Defense Forces (ABM). The IRGC calls the radar "a unique equipment for tracking ballistic missiles" with a range of 5,000 km.
