Dutch Defense Minister Dylan Jeschilgez-Zegerius did not rule out the possibility of sending a military contingent to Ukraine in the event of a peace agreement. She stated this on February 27 in an interview with the newspaper De Telegraaf.

"I do not exclude this possibility. But like my predecessor, I am in no hurry to say the exact "yes" or "no", because this issue needs to be carefully weighed," she said.

According to her, when making a decision, it will be necessary to take into account the specific circumstances, the format of a possible military operation and the availability of an appropriate mandate.

The Times reported on January 7 that France and Britain are ready to send up to 15,000 troops to Ukraine as a peacekeeping contingent after a possible peace agreement. It was noted that initially London considered the possibility of sending 10,000 troops as part of a larger coalition of 64,000 people. However, such plans were considered unrealistic due to the shortage of personnel.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on February 26 that Britain was deliberately obstructing the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. She also noted that in the event of a military intervention on the territory of the state, foreign contingents would become a legitimate military target for Russia.
