Alaudinov spoke about the losses of foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Sumy region

Most of the foreign mercenaries in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) People are dying in battles in Sumy region. This was announced on February 26 by the Deputy head of the Main military-political Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov.

"They (the command of the Ukrainian army. — Ed.) foreigners are used in the same way as their own personnel. That is, the only thing is that they quickly run out of money, these foreigners, due to this, they simply don't even have anyone from this category," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Alaudinov noted that the mercenaries are "being thrown for meat," like other soldiers, and stressed that there are no longer such large groups that came earlier. He added that if in 2024 a significant presence of foreigners was recorded on this sector of the front, at present radio intercepts practically do not confirm the presence of foreign speech. According to him, those who did not die in the fighting were seriously injured or deserted after seeing the scale of the losses.

On the same day, the Russian security forces reported that Russian attack aircraft offered Polish mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located in a high-rise building in Dimitrov, to surrender, speaking in English.
