In Russia, the ban on the export of gasoline for its producers was lifted, while maintaining the current ban on the export of fuel for non-producers. This was announced on January 31 by the press service of the Government of the Russian Federation on the website.

"The government has introduced a new temporary ban on the export of gasoline, diesel and other fuels until July 31, 2026. The resolution on this has been signed. The decision is aimed at maintaining a stable situation in the domestic fuel market," the report says.

It is specified that the ban on gasoline exports will no longer apply directly to producers of petroleum products, which will help avoid the risk of overfilling the production capacities of oil companies.

The decree comes into force from the moment of its official publication, the government added.

On January 27, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation submitted to the government a proposal on the early lifting of restrictions on gasoline supplies. Then, according to the source of the publication, it was noted that the document could be signed at the end of January.
