Russian musician and producer Maxim Fadeev revealed on January 23 that he had lost almost 100 kg in the last 10 years.

"My 2016 and 2026. 205 kilograms and 108. I'm glad I did it," the artist wrote on his Instagram page (owned by Meta, a company recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

It is noted that the 57-year-old artist supported a popular trend in which users compare themselves to what they were 10 years ago. Fadeev published an archive photo from 2016, showing him in a black T—shirt, jacket and wide-brimmed hat.

Next to it, he posted an up-to-date photo taken already in 2026: the musician poses at a Christmas tree in a knitted hat and sweatshirt. In the caption to the publication, Fadeev noted that over the past decade he has managed to significantly reduce his weight by almost 100 kg.

Need To Know magazine reported on January 15 that Christie McCammon, a resident of the United States, was able to lose 45 kg due to the rejection of sugar in her diet. McCammon said that if she wants to eat something sweet, she chooses bananas, sweet potatoes, fruit cakes, and also makes ice cream from cottage cheese. She called for learning to be humble and eat "healthy food that benefits our body and nourishes our brain."
