The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced a new series of attacks on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. This was announced on January 9 by the army press service.

"As part of the strikes, the IDF attacked weapons depots and a production facility that were used to rebuild and build up military power...> Hezbollah organizations," the message on the Telegram channel says.

The press service reported that the strikes also hit several launch pads, rocket launchers and military installations, which, according to Israel, were used by Hezbollah for attacks against Israel and its soldiers.

It is noted that these goals and their restoration activities violate the previously reached agreements between Israel and Lebanon and pose a threat to the country's security. The IDF has promised to continue operations to eliminate any threats.

On December 25, 2025, the IDF eliminated one of the key members of the Quds Force of the ground forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, an elite unit of the Iranian Armed Forces). According to the military department, the man has been involved in planning and carrying out terrorist attacks against Israel in recent years.

On December 9, the IDF announced that it had eliminated Ibrahim Muhammad Raslan, a maintenance officer for the Lebanese Hezbollah movement in southern Lebanon. In addition, the bridgehead and other military installations of the group were subjected to an air strike. It is noted that at the attacked training ground, Hezbollah members conducted training in the handling of small arms and other types of weapons.

In early November, the IDF launched a series of attacks against Hezbollah's infrastructure in southern Lebanon. It was clarified that the affected object was used by the movement to restore infrastructure.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on November 2 that the armed groups of the Hezbollah movement in Lebanon are trying to rearm, and the country intends to exercise the right to self-defense under the terms of the ceasefire.
