The Yoshkar-Ola City Court dismissed proceedings on a claim for the recovery of 15 million rubles from Alexander Keldybaev, who acted as a defendant in the fraud case against singer Larisa Dolina, in connection with his death before the start of the trial. This was reported on January 2 by TASS with reference to the case file.

It follows from the documents that in June 2024, Keldybaev received two transfers from Dolina: 5 million rubles on June 21 and another 10 million rubles on June 27. However, during the consideration of the civil claim, it was established that the defendant had died, as a result of which the court decided to terminate the proceedings in respect of the claims brought against him.

The lawsuit was filed by the prosecutor's office, which insisted on the return of the funds received, pointing to signs of unjustified enrichment.

Earlier, on December 31, 2025, the Yoshkar-Ola court ordered nine droppers involved in the Dolina sale case to pay the singer 49 million rubles in compensation.

On December 16, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation recognized the ownership of the disputed apartment by Dolina to the buyer Polina Lurie. It was clarified that the court also decided to cancel all decisions of the lower courts in the case of the sale of the artist's apartment. On December 25, the Moscow City Court decided to evict Dolina from a five-room apartment in the Khamovniki district.
