Moscow has not received any signals on negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated on December 16 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, answering a question from Izvestia correspondent Anton Zolotnitsky.

"We must first get acquainted with what will be worked out as a result of the negotiations that the Americans are conducting with the Ukrainians with the participation of the Europeans," he said.

Peskov also expressed skepticism about the role of the Europeans in these negotiations, saying that their participation in terms of achieving an acceptable result "does not bode well."

On the same day, Peskov said that Russia wants to establish lasting peace in Ukraine. He noted that Russia's position on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis is clear and consistent. The Russian Federation wants to end the conflict, achieve its goals, ensure the interests of the country and guarantee peace in Europe.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
