On December 7, RT's editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan presented Russian President Vladimir Putin with a vase with an inscription about the reunification of Russia and Ukraine.

"I presented the president with the very vase (with the inscription about reunification. — Ed.) of Ukraine with Russia," the message on the Telegram channel says.

As part of the launch of RT India, Simonyan presented Putin with a vase with the image of Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky and the inscription "325 years of Ukraine's reunification with Russia." The editor said that she found this item in an Indian vintage store, couldn't resist buying it, and decided to present it to Putin. In response to the gift, the president thanked her.

As part of Putin's state visit to India, which took place on December 4-5, a new RT India channel was to be launched. This event was included in the extensive program of the Russian leader's visit to the country.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
