On Friday, November 28, a resumption of strong solar flares of level M is expected, there is a possibility of flares of a more powerful level X. This was announced on November 28 at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy of the Institute of Space Research (IKI).

"According to the forecast, strong outbreaks of level M are expected to resume today. The probability of outbreaks of the highest X level has also been increased, but so far they are at moderate levels," the laboratory said in a Telegram channel message.

Scientists also noted that the frequency of small and medium-sized flares has increased significantly, which do not affect the Earth, but indicate a rapid increase in energy reserves in the Sun.

The expert spoke about the decline in geomagnetic activity

Earlier, on November 14, it was reported that the strongest magnetic storm had ended. It was clarified that the geomagnetic storm lasted 42 hours, and it became the strongest this year.
