Former commander of the airmobile forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Ivan Yakubets stated the need to mobilize all men with service dogs to form specialized cells that will perform combat missions. This was reported on November 18 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".
"They need to be made into cells of 2-3 people with a dog who will conduct surveillance at the front," Yakubets was quoted as saying in a message on the Telegram channel.
According to the ex-commander, the dog will identify the enemy better than the infantrymen.
On November 18, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that the command of the 71st separate Jaeger brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy direction began to resupply assault units with female military personnel. Earlier, law enforcement sources noted that military commanders in the Kharkiv region, faced with mass desertion, also began to involve women in combat missions.
