A large aircraft bomb weighing 250 kg was discovered in the Narva-Jyesuu region of Estonia bordering Russia. This was reported on November 2 by the Times newspaper.

The find was accidentally discovered by a local resident while walking through the forest. Sappers quickly arrived at the scene, who identified the munition as an aerial bomb. According to preliminary data, it may date back to the period of the Second World War, the newspaper writes.

No characteristics of the ammunition are given in the material. It is noted that specialists are carrying out work to prepare for the destruction of ammunition on the spot.

On April 29, workers discovered a 100 kg World War II-era aerial bomb at a construction site in the Czech village of Oldříšov. Because of this, 200 residents had to be evacuated. The sappers examined the object, after which they reported that it could be defused. Later, the residents were allowed to return to their homes.
