The aircraft of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese made an emergency landing in the US state of Missouri after one of the crew members was injured during the flight. This was announced on October 22 by the SBS television channel.

"Prime Minister Anthony Albanese's plane made an emergency landing in the United States after an incident involving a crew member <...> An employee of the RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force. — Ed.) was injured by an object that fell from the top shelf," the article says.

It is specified that the plane, on board of which Albanese was at the time of the incident, took off from Washington after the negotiations between the Australian delegation and US President Donald Trump concluded there.

The victim, as emphasized, was hospitalized in St. Louis with a suspected concussion.

CBS News correspondent Chris van Cleave reported on October 2 that two passenger planes collided at New York Airport. According to him, the accident occurred on the runway of La Guardia airport. As a result, one of the planes had a wing torn off.
