Russians with a salary of 200 thousand rubles can receive 8.69 pension points.
Russians with a salary of 200,000 rubles will be able to expect to receive 8.69 pension points per year to form their future pension. Natalia Koshikhina, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy, told about this on October 15.
To calculate the number of pension points, a citizen must divide the amount of contributions paid for himself by the amount of contributions that the person with the highest salary would pay, multiplying it by 10.
"For example, if a citizen's salary is 200,000 rubles, then he will earn 8.69 points in a year," Koshikhina told RIA Novosti.
She also recalled that the insurance pension is guaranteed to be indexed by the state and protected from inflation. According to her, in 2025, the cost of one pension point will amount to 145.69 rubles, and the fixed payment will increase to 8,907.7 rubles.
"The longer the length of service and the insurance premiums paid, the higher the points and the higher the payments," the senator noted.
On September 28, Koshikhina spoke about those who can apply for an increase in pension payments by the end of this year. So, they will grow among military retirees and former employees of law enforcement agencies. According to the senator, this is due to salary indexation by 7.6%.
