Gazprom has completed pumping gas into Russia's underground storage facilities, bringing the volume to 100%. The Russian energy company announced this on October 10 in the Telegram channel.

"The extensive work to prepare for the upcoming winter has been completed in full and on time," said Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors.

It is specified that in preparation for the 2025 winter season, the company has completed gas injection into underground storage facilities in Russia, setting a new record. The operational reserve of gas in UGS reached 73.170 billion cubic meters, which is 100% of the planned volume. This is an absolute record, which confirms the successful work of the company in the field of preparation for the cold season.

The potential maximum daily capacity of underground gas storage facilities is 858.8 million cubic meters, which will ensure reliable energy supply in winter.

On October 9, Miller said that competitors are not close to Russia in the issue of gas reserves. According to him, Gazprom currently "produces the most gas" and "has the most gas reserves."
