The Prosecutor General of Russia, Alexander Gutsan, announced the need to create a department to monitor the observance of the rights of participants in a special military operation (SVO) and their families. This was reported on October 9 on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

The Russian Prosecutor General's Office held a meeting of the board dedicated to the practice of prosecutorial supervision in the field of the observance of the rights of ITS participants and their family members. During the meeting, Gutsan noted that the issue of respecting the rights of participants in the CBO is one of the most important. He recalled that earlier at an expanded meeting of the board of the Prosecutor General's Office, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed the special importance of supporting defenders of the Fatherland, which should become a professional and moral duty of prosecutors.

During the discussion, the board noted that large-scale measures of state support for the participants of the CB required active supervision. It was also pointed out the need for an immediate response in case of ineffective performance of tasks by officials.

"In order to ensure a substantive approach to oversight work and strengthen its organizational component, I consider it necessary to establish a specialized department for the supervision of the rights of CBR participants and their family members in the structure of the 7th General Directorate," Gutan said.

On September 29, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation proposed to introduce benefits related to transport and land taxes for large families, members of their families and their family members. In addition, the department proposed to exempt payments to employees of organizations, individual entrepreneurs, as well as persons undergoing military service in their military units from insurance premiums, regardless of the validity period of such a contract.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on September 26 that supporting the military and veterans of his military is a key task. He also expressed confidence in "continuing such work."
