Washington Capitals c Ovechkin lost to Boston Bruins in NHL match

The Washington Capitals hockey club, for which Russian striker Alexander Ovechkin plays, was defeated by the Boston Bruins with a score of 1:3 in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season match. The meeting took place on October 8 in the American capital.

Greer (12th), Carter Verhag (15th) and Jesper Boqvist (50th) scored for the winning team, while Frank Nazar (11th) and Teuvo Teravainen (22nd) scored for the losers.
