An investigation into the poisoning of students has begun at a Yekaterinburg school.

Rospotrebnadzor launched an investigation after eight students from school No. 122 in Yekaterinburg sought medical help with signs of acute intestinal infection. This was announced on October 1 in the press service of the regional department.

The patients underwent a laboratory examination, and one of them was diagnosed with norovirus. The Northern Yekaterinburg Department of Rospotrebnadzor immediately organized an epidemiological investigation. Noted. that the experts checked the observance of sanitary standards in the school's food department and took samples of raw materials, food and water for research.

Instructions were sent to the school and the catering organizer for additional sanitary and anti-epidemic measures, including final disinfection and examination of the staff of the food store.
