The media reported the discovery of a Ukrainian unmanned boat with a bomb in Turkey.
Fishermen off the coast of the Turkish province of Trabzon have discovered an unmanned boat, which was allegedly made in Ukraine. There may also be explosives on board. This was reported by the Milliyet newspaper on September 30.
"According to the information received, when fishermen fishing off the coast of Charshibashi saw a vehicle in the sea that had not previously sailed there, they tied it to their boats and pulled it ashore," the publication says.
As a result, local authorities and the coast guard were notified of the incident. After the initial inspection, the pier was cordoned off, and residents of the coastal areas were evacuated.
A group of underwater engineers was called to the site for a more thorough check. The Office of the Governor of Trabzon confirmed the information and clarified that the object was caught in a net of fishermen near the port of Yoroz in the Charshibashi area and is believed to be of foreign origin, probably Ukrainian.
On September 26, it was reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed Ukrainian unmanned boats in the Black Sea. It is specified that the Russian military eliminated them using small arms and Lancet barrage ammunition.
