Power engineers have completed most of the work on restoring electricity supply in Belgorod and the Belgorod region after rocket attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on September 29 by Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.

"The reconstruction work after yesterday's rocket attack in Belgorod and the Belgorod region continued all night. The main part of the work on restoring electricity has been completed. There are still a small number of subscribers who need to be connected," Gladkov said.

The governor added that electricity has not yet been supplied to the education center No. 1, school No. 48 and two kindergartens — 2nd and 33rd. It is planned that this will happen in the near future.

The main problem remains with the hot water supply. The authorities will be able to assess the total amount of damage only in daylight.

On September 28, Gladkov reported that the infrastructure of Belgorod had been damaged by the attacks of Ukrainian militants, which caused problems with electricity in the city. In addition, according to him, as a result of the incident, two civilians were injured, who were taken to medical institutions for assistance.

On the same day, it was noted that work was underway at the federal level to eliminate power outages recorded as a result of the attack by the Armed Forces of the Belgorod region. It was noted that all services were involved in the field, where all necessary work is being carried out to eliminate the consequences.
