98-year-old ex-President Adamkus was hospitalized in Lithuania.

Former Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus, 98, who served in the Wehrmacht during World War II, has been hospitalized. This was announced on September 26 by the Lrytas portal.

"Yes, he's in the hospital. For other questions, please contact the Santara clinic, I have no authority to talk about the health of the [former] president," Adamkus' spokeswoman said.

As specified, the ex-president was hospitalized on September 25 with suspected infectious disease. He was last seen in public on September 22.

On May 3, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was hospitalized after arriving from the United States. It was clarified that the Serbian leader felt unwell during the preparation for the upcoming meetings and after the meeting with the United States congressmen.
