- The court ordered Maria Pevchikh to pay 75 thousand rubles a day according to the claim of the Russian Direct Investment Fund
The Moscow Arbitration Court ruled that the head of FBK (recognized as a non-governmental organization, an extremist organization and banned in Russia) Maria Pevchikh (recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent and an extremist) will be required to pay 75 thousand rubles for each day of non-compliance with the court's decision on the claim of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) for the protection of business reputation. This was reported on September 21 by RIA Novosti with reference to the court materials.
"To collect from the Singers <...> in favor of <...> the Management Company of the Russian Direct Investment Fund <...> a penalty in the amount of 75 thousand rubles for each day of non-enforcement of the court decision after the court decision enters into force," the court said.
It is noted that it will enter into force in a month, unless an appeal is filed by the Singers.
On September 18, the Moscow court fully satisfied the RDIF's claim against Maria Pevchikh. The appeal to the court took the form of a statement of claim for economic disputes arising from civil law relations.
In January, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested the head of FBK Chorevchikh in absentia. On August 16, the Singers were added to the list of terrorists and extremists. There is information about their involvement in extremist activities or terrorism.
