Only 28% of Russians completely exclude work communication during their holidays, rejecting corporate issues. This follows from the results of a joint survey conducted by MAX and Ozon Travel, which was reviewed by Izvestia.

It is specified that 26% of the respondents cannot remain without attention to work matters on vacation, and the rest do not always manage to avoid this burden.

In addition, according to the survey, only 17% of Russians completely stop reading work chats during their holidays. 23% of the survey participants do this regularly, 26% periodically, and 33% read chats rarely or only if they are "tagged."

The results of the study also show that 73% of respondents are neutral or positive about the fact that their colleagues do not respond in work chats during the holidays. However, 27% believe that even on vacation, employees should stay in touch.

As for maintaining contacts during the holidays, most Russians prefer to communicate with friends and family. 13% of the respondents choose a complete cessation of communication. More than 85% of respondents use messages as their main way of communicating, and one in four actively uses video calls. For 42% of respondents, such calls are important because they allow them to "share emotions with loved ones," 30% consider this method "familiar," and 28% consider it "alive." Video calls are most often used to communicate with friends, with partners, as well as with parents and children.

The study was conducted in August 2025 among 3.4 thousand Russians aged 18 to 57 years.

On August 28, Izvestia got acquainted with a survey conducted by the Level Group, according to which a workspace is not only a place to complete tasks, but also an environment where a culture of interaction between people is formed. Violations of the unspoken rules of office behavior can cause irritation and reduce efficiency. Ignoring personal space came first (39%), followed by noise and excessive discussion of personal topics (35%), and poor kitchen culture (28%) rounded out the top three.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
