Honored Artist of Russia, ballerina Anastasia Volochkova said that she was removed from the flight to the Maldives for being late for boarding, despite the fact that she and her director arrived at the airport on time. She told Izvestia about this on August 11.

"We come to the counter and they won't let us on the flight, they say you're one or two minutes late. Can you imagine?" — said the actress.

According to Volochkova, she arrived at the airport half an hour before departure, but while waiting for the flight, she was surrounded by fans. After that, she stood aside and waited for the other passengers to board.

The ballerina claims that the announcement of the end of boarding was not made. When she arrived at the counter, the staff informed her that boarding was completed and offered to purchase new tickets. Their cost, according to the artist, was about 300 thousand rubles.

"I bought special tickets, special seats for my legs that need rest. People, I gave you 30 concerts in three months, you know," Volochkova said.

She also said that they managed to get her luggage off the plane after the situation. The actress called the incident unfair and suggested that the incident could have been pre-arranged.

Dmitry, a wheelchair user, was not allowed on the flight on March 11, as employees of Pobeda Airlines refused to accept his wheelchair in their luggage. As a result, Dmitry had to leave his wheelchair at the airport to catch his flight.
