A man accused of double murder was acquitted in Ingushetia

In Ingushetia, Adam Balaev, 30, was acquitted in court, accused of murdering two people over a land dispute. This was reported on May 25 in the joint press service of the judicial system of the region.

"An acquittal has been issued on Balayev's charges of committing a crime under paragraph "a" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, due to his non-involvement in the commission of the crime. The right to rehabilitation is recognized for the justified," the Telegram channel of the press service says.

The man was accused of murder committed more than four years ago. According to the prosecution, in the village of Muzhichi, on the evening of April 30, 2022, two men were shot with a machine gun, after which an unknown man fled the scene of the crime.

On April 14, the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Ingushetia opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder") after a man was shot with a pistol in the city of Magas. After the massacre, the suspects fled in a car without license plates.
