- The British Deputy Prime Minister did not respond three times to a question about the US strike on a school in Iran.
British Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy refused to answer a question about the US attack on a school in Iran three times, taking the position that he allegedly knew nothing about the topic, the British SkyNews TV channel reported on March 6.
The presenter asked the politician whether the United Kingdom had studied information about the US strikes on a school in Iran where children were killed, and asked to clarify whether this action was a violation of international law.
"This is a feverish war zone, <...> and I do not know how true this statement is. <...> But it's up to the Americans to comment on what happened there," the politician said.
Lammy added that he personally had not received any intelligence on the situation. To the journalist's clarifying question that military actions in any case do not justify attacks on schools, the politician noted that he did not know anything.
On the same day, the Reuters news agency reported that US military investigators were considering the possibility of US involvement in the attack on an elementary school for girls in southern Iran on February 28, which killed 170 people. However, a final conclusion has not yet been made and the investigation has not been completed. Thousands of people came to the farewell ceremony for the dead schoolgirls on March 3.
