16 collection points for humanitarian aid opened in the south of Moscow

16 humanitarian aid reception points have started operating in the Southern Administrative District of Moscow for soldiers on the front line of hospitals and residents of the liberated territories. This was announced on March 3 on the website of the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin. mos.ru .

"Everyone can join the gathering," the publication says.

It is noted that the points are located in every district of the Southern Administrative District, mainly in libraries and cultural centers. They accept products with a long shelf life, hygiene products, equipment, medicines, household goods, special equipment and goods for children.

In the districts of Nagatinsky Zaton Donskoy and Tsaritsyno, new points replaced the sites of the Winter in Moscow project. Workshops were held there on weaving camouflage nets, making dugout candles, hospital pillows and dry shower kits, and it was also possible to write letters with warm wishes to the soldiers.

"All addresses and phone numbers of points can be found on the website of the Association of Cultural and Leisure Centers of the Southern Administrative District," the mayor's website noted.

The public organization "Volunteers" and the Prefecture of the Southern Administrative District jointly formed and dispatched four convoys. On the eve of Defender of the Fatherland Day, aid was delivered to soldiers of military unit No. 31135 of the 1st Guards Motorized Rifle Sevastopol Red Banner Order of Alexander Nevsky Regiment named after the 60th Anniversary of the USSR.

It is specified that the cargo included equipment and uniforms, radio communication devices, construction tools, food products, medicines, hygiene supplies, and letters of congratulations and words of support.

On February 27, the Mayor of Moscow announced that the participants of the Maslenitsa festival had transferred part of the proceeds to their fighters. Entrepreneurs who worked at the festival venues allocated money for the purchase of necessary goods for the military. Many of them help regularly by sending their products and funds to charities.
