The mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has practically lost its combat capability due to heavy losses in the Andreevka area of the Sumy region. This was reported on February 28 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Obituaries and announcements about the search for missing servicemen of the 5th company of the 2nd mechanized battalion of the 158th Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to surface en masse," TASS quoted the text of the message.

According to him, in January, the brigade suffered enormous losses in the Andreevka area and actually ceased to be combat-ready.
