The crew of the SU-34 multifunctional supersonic fighter-bomber of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) attacked the personnel and control center of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of responsibility of the Center group of forces. This was announced on February 27 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The aircraft struck at pre-determined coordinates using bombs equipped with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC). After receiving confirmation from intelligence about the successful defeat of the target, the crew made a safe return to the home airfield.

On February 26, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that artillery crews of the 152-mm Msta-B howitzer of the 80th Guards Tank Regiment of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Center group of forces hit the temporary deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine located in a wooded area in the Dnepropetrovsk area of the special military operation (SVO). It was clarified that the target was detected by the Unmanned Systems Unit (UAS).
